Throughout time man has progressed and prospered by finding & opening up new frontiers.
Studies suggest the new frontier is TIME itself.
Life expectancy increase by 6 hours every single day.
The majority of children born today will live to be 100.
There are already over 13 million people in the UK who will live to over 100 & over 30 million in the US. By 2030 there will be over 1.2 billion people globally aged over 60.
As we live to 100, we will all have to make choices today about our futures and in these choices there are huge opportunities for businesses to help make a difference and grow.
Until now only snippets of information about an ageing population existed. No one had conducted a comprehensive study of what consumer understanding, attitude and behaviours are in relation to this. Further, no one has looked at how these are changing, and could change in the future. No one has explored the impact on health behaviour
At Clear we have conducted an in-depth study both qualitative and quantitative in four regions, UK, Europe, USA, and China. We have spoken to 1,000’s of people to understand, what they think, feel and do about living to 100.
We’ve challenged the different ages with perspectives from older or younger groups. We also challenged them with future shock scenarios – eg no health service, no pensions.
